APRW Kicks Off 2024 with New Appointments and Growth

APRW celebrates remarkable achievements from 2023 and paves the way for continued excellence in the new year

Singapore, 10 January 2024 – In 2024, APRW Pte Ltd (APRW), a leading Singaporean integrated communications agency, is set to be working strategically on Total Defence and National Education campaigns. Wrapping up 2023 on a high, APRW achieved great success in delivering comprehensive publicity support for clients such as Julia Gabriel Education, IAAPA Expo Asia, and North East Community Development Council (NE CDC). APRW also continued their commitment to doing good through the long-term partnership with the Boys’ Brigade Share-a-Gift project, the biggest Christmas charity drive in Singapore. Beyond publicity, APRW diversified with custom media training programmes, adapting to evolving client needs.

APRW Plays a Part for Total Defence and National Education

Following a competitive pitch, APRW has been appointed for the development and execution of publicity and engagement strategies, focused on Total Defence (TD) and National Education (NE) related campaigns and initiatives. APRW will be handling all public relations and media management aspects for NE and TD-related campaigns and initiatives, including actively pitching key engagement efforts and ad-hoc stories to the media. The team is led by Cho Pei Lin, Managing Director of APRW. The year-long appointment was awarded by So Drama! Entertainment, a local media company owned by SAFRA National Service Association. This win follows APRW’s recent successful completion of the 55th anniversary of the Republic of Singapore Air Force in 2023.

Ms Cho shared, “Total Defence was launched in 1984 as a national security strategy and involves every Singaporean playing a part, individually and collectively, to build a strong, secure and cohesive nation. This year, Singapore commemorates 40 years of Total Defence and APRW is proud to be playing our part for Total Defence.”

APRW Supports the Boys’ Brigade Share-a-Gift Project for 18 Consecutive Years

APRW is honoured to have provided publicity support to the Boys’ Brigade Share-a-Gift project (BBSG) for the 18th consecutive year. BBSG is one of Singapore’s largest year-end charity projects and over the years, APRW has been an integral part of the BBSG team from establishing and growing BBSG’s social media presence to executing media events and providing strategic advice. Last year, BBSG supported a record number of more than 45,000 beneficiaries while expanding support to ComLink beneficiaries for the first time.

2023: APRW’s Year in Review

Julia Gabriel Education, a renowned educational organisation specialising in children’s language and communication development, appointed APRW last year as their PR Agency for their initiatives. With a primary emphasis on media relations, APRW provided strategic counsel to enhance visibility for the institution as a whole.

In June 2023, the premier trade show for the attractions industry, the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA) Expo Asia, returned to Singapore after a three-year hiatus. APRW spearheaded its PR efforts, registering over 5,000 attendees worldwide.

“It is both an honour and a delight to have APRW be a part of a renowned event like IAAPA Expo Asia 2023,” said Julie Chiang, Director of APRW. “This trade show, a hub for innovation and forward-thinking in the industry, allowed us to showcase our expertise in communications, particularly through the successful management of media tours, media partnerships and a comprehensive PR campaign. The event’s impressive turnout is a testament to the campaign’s effective collaboration and strategic communication efforts.”

APRW is also honoured to have an ongoing partnership with NE CDC, having served as the appointed agency for the year before. NE CDCcollaborates extensively with community and corporate partners to design and implement outreach programmes that foster community bonding and social cohesion. APRW played a significant role in leading the public relations for Singapore’s largest inclusive arts event, Shaping Hearts 2023 in November, raising funds to support artists with disabilities.

“Working alongside the NE CDC over the past two years has been an extraordinary journey of community engagement and impactful collaborations,” said Julie Chiang, who also heads the account for NE CDC. “Our involvement, particularly in orchestrating the public relations for Shaping Hearts 2023, has allowed us to support initiatives that make a real difference in the community. Looking ahead, we are excited to continue this partnership with NE CDC, anticipating more opportunities to unite people and highlight the vital role of effective communication in community development.”
