She has also successfully led the EVA Air Hello Kitty Jet Launch which garnered Best Consumer PR Campaign (Bronze), Best PR-Led Integrated Communications and Best PR Campaign – Lifestyle (Gold) in 2016. She also helmed publicity campaigns for the launch of iShopChangiWines.com by DFS Group and Changi Airport Group, Barbie’s 60th Anniversary in Singapore, initial launch of Hegen, and Lamborghini Singapore. For lifestyle programmes and events, Julie spearheaded media relations for Singapore River Festival and the Star Wars Festival supported by Singapore Tourism Board.
With extensive knowledge and a wealth of experience in the FMCG, Julie has a proven track record in driving brand and product awareness. Her portfolio includes consumer brands such as AYAM Brand, BreadTalk, Nature’s Wonders, MILO and Tai Sun. Julie also managed communications for retail malls under Mercatus Co-operative; AMK Hub, Jurong Point and Swing By @ Thomson Plaza, and conducted media outreach for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice campaign at CapitaLand. In the area of consumer lifestyle technology, Julie is active on LG Electronics (Singapore) and serviced the Challenger account. She also delivered Corporate work for SportCares (the philanthropy arm of Sport Singapore) and the Special Olympics Singapore.
Healthcare PR is also a meaningful cornerstone of her career and she takes pride in the long-standing trusted partnerships with clients, such as Singapore National Eye Care Centre and Singapore Heart Foundation. Julie continues to bring insightful ideas and her vast media network to foster strong media opportunities for her clients. She also drove the publicity projects for Stroke Support Station and Nestlé Infant Nutrition.
Julie combines unparalleled expertise and deep insights to help clients on crisis communications or disputes in areas such as assisting global food service manufacturer and multinational electronics company over product recall; providing media/public advice about airport siege affecting an airline carrier; consulting and advise media/public response on public accidents and operational incidents in retail environment, fake news, and pest infestation.
With a heart for the less fortunate, Julie continues to give back to the community through various causes that she cares about. She contributed her expertise in doing pro-bono work with Singapore Cancer Society, The Running Hour and was co-editor for The Birthday Collective’s Birthday Book Junior.
A graduate in Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology, Australia with Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations, Julie actively participates in mentorship programmes and delivers campus lectures at tertiary institutions in Singapore. She has been invited to speak at seminars and events, and is sought after for expert commentary. Julie is an accredited PR Practitioner of the Institute of Public Relations Singapore and a member of the Singapore Press Club.
